I have written a telugu manuscript titled Sri Bhagavata Narayaneeyamu .It has the following:
a. A telugu transliteration of the sanskrit Srimad Narayaneeyam Slokas, pada vibhagamu(verbalism-meaning in prose order) and tatparyamu(summary) of the 1036 verses.
b.Like the Srimad Narayaneeyam which addressed the Lord, my work invokes him by one of "His Thousand Names"(Vishnu Sahasra Namavali) for each sloka and is accompanied by an elaboration of their significance.
c.I have also crowned each of the 100 Dasakams with one or more poems of "Narayana Satakamu"-an enconium of the Lord Narayana in 105 verses by the great devotee poet of 15 th Century, Shri Bhammera Pothana of Andhra Pradesh . He has also composed the telugu version of Srimad Bhagavatha in 9000 poems titled the "Srimad Andhra Bhagavathamu".
d.I have defined the parallels between Srimad Andhra Bhagavathamu and each of the 1036 slokas of Srimad Narayaneeyam. The remarkable parallels between these two great works will be a gift to the world, for the continued propagation of the message of Bhakthi.
e.Apart from all these, I have also added important quotations from various sources at appropriate places to enable immediate references.
Thus, "Sri Bhagavatha Narayaneeyamu" affords a comparative study. The majority of people of Andhra Pradesh know little about Shri Narayana Bhattathiri and his great Sanskrit work. The present work will be well received in Andhra Pradesh, for I have introduced Shri Narayana Bhattathiri through Shri Pothana.
To my best knowledge, there is no similar exhaustive work on Srimad Narayaneeyam in Telugu. There is one book of Shri Kalluri Venkata Subrahmanya Deekshitulu (published by B.V.S.S.Mani, 95, Broadway, Madras, in 1977), who has translated each Sanskrit sloka into Telugu Poetry and highlighted briefly the gist in prose.
My manuscript of Sri Bhagavata Narayaneeyamu comes to 2500 pages of A4 size.
